What Is Funder Management?

Funder Management lets you set up and track third-party funding sources within Tacklit. This is for practices that receive payment from organisations like insurance companies, EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs), government agencies, or other bodies that fund client care.

How It Works

β€’ Create funder records with key details like name, contact information, and funding terms

β€’ Link funders to client packages so billing is tracked against the correct funding source

β€’ Attach funders to referrals to maintain a clear audit trail from referral through to invoicing

β€’ Filter referral lists by funder to quickly see all clients funded by a particular organisation

Where to Find It

Funder records are managed through the Control Panel. Once created, funders can be attached to packages and referrals from the client record.

Good to Know

You can attach a funder to a referral without specifying a package, and you can attach a package without specifying a funder. This flexibility supports a range of funding models, from fully funded packages to ad hoc funder relationships.
