Flow Access for Non-Clinical Staff

Control which clinicians can access Flow from within CareOS, with a dedicated toggle in practitioner access settings.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What Is Flow Access?

For practices using both CareOS and Dr Flow, administrators can now control which clinicians have access to Dr Flow directly from within CareOS. This streamlines the experience for teams that work across both products.

How to Set It Up

1. Go to Team → Practitioner Profile → Access Control

2. Toggle Flow access on or off for each clinician

3. Clinicians with Flow access will see an Open Flow button within CareOS for quick navigation

How It Works

• The Open Flow button only appears for clinicians who have been granted Flow access — other users won't see it

• Clicking the button takes the clinician directly into Flow without needing to log in separately

• Administrators manage all access centrally, so there's no need for clinicians to request access individually

Good to Know

This is relevant for practices that have Flow enabled. If your workspace doesn't use Flow, this setting won't appear. Contact your account manager if you're interested in enabling Dr Flow for your practice.
