New: Task Management in Tacklit

Create, assign, and track tasks against clients or groups directly within Tacklit. Templates, priority levels, categories, and a full audit trail included.

Updated over a week ago

We've just shipped Task Management in Tacklit. It's something many of you have asked for, and we're pleased to get it into your hands.

Until now, keeping track of follow-ups, admin actions, and clinical to-dos meant using something outside of Tacklit. Spreadsheets, sticky notes, Slack threads, or standalone task apps. That meant context lived in one place and your tasks lived in another. Things got missed.

Task Management fixes that. You can now create, assign, and track tasks directly within Tacklit, linked to the clients and groups they relate to.

What you can do

Create tasks from scratch or use templates so common workflows take a few clicks instead of a few minutes. Assign tasks to clinicians or clients. Set priority levels, categories, and due dates. Link related tasks together when they're part of a coordinated workflow. And every change is tracked with a full audit trail, so you always know what happened and when.

There's a task summary dashboard that gives you a quick view of task counts by status, plus search, filter, and sort so you can manage your workload without digging through lists.

Settings and configuration

Admins can configure task categories and subcategories to match how your practice actually works. You can also create reusable task templates, so the tasks your team creates regularly come pre-filled with the right details. Both of these are managed through a new Task Settings area in the control panel.

Good to know

Task Management is enabled per account on request. If you'd like it switched on, get in touch with our support team and we'll have it live for you quickly.

Automation rules aren't included in this first release but are coming in a future update. We wanted to get the core task engine into your hands first and build automation on top of a solid foundation.

If you have questions or feedback once you start using it, we'd love to hear from you. Just reach out through the Help button in your account.
