How to manage and edit templates in Tacklit

Templates in Tacklit help you standardise the information you collect from clients and the documents you produce. They are managed through the Forms section in the left-hand navigation.

Accessing Templates

Click Forms in the left-hand sidebar to see all your existing templates. From here you can create new templates or edit existing ones.

Types of Templates

  • Form templates β€” Used for intake forms, assessments, questionnaires, and any structured data collection from clients or within clinical notes.

  • Invoice templates β€” Standardise your invoice layout and default line items for consistent billing.

  • Consent forms β€” Create consent documents that clients can review and sign electronically as part of their onboarding or before specific services.

Creating and Editing

To create a new template, click the Create button within the Forms section. You can add structured questions, free-text fields, and link fields to Client Data Fields (CDFs) so that responses automatically update the client's EMR record. Editing an existing template only affects future uses β€” it does not change data already collected using that template.
