How bookable time slots appear to clients depends on two things working together: appointment types (what can be booked) and practitioner working schedules (when and where it can be booked).
Appointment types
Appointment types define the services available for booking β including the session duration, delivery mode (telehealth, in-person, or both), and any associated fees. These are configured by your administrator in the Control Panel.
Practitioner working schedules
Practitioner working schedules determine when each practitioner is available and at which location. A practitioner's available time slots are generated from their working schedule, filtered by the appointment types assigned to them.
How they work together
A client selects an appointment type (e.g., "Initial Assessment β 60 minutes")
Tacklit checks which practitioners offer that appointment type
It then looks at each practitioner's working schedule and location
Available slots are displayed based on the overlap
To configure
Set up appointment types in the Control Panel (Admin/Superuser)
Assign appointment types to practitioners
Each practitioner sets their working schedule and location
Slots appear automatically in the digital front door
If slots aren't appearing, check that the appointment type, practitioner assignment, working schedule, and location all align.
