Getting your practice set up in Tacklit involves a few key steps to ensure your team can start delivering care quickly.
Practice Information
Head to Control Panel > Practice Information to add your practice details. This includes your practice name, contact information, ABN or business registration, and branding such as your logo. This information appears on invoices, client communications, and your booking page.
Locations
Set up your practice locations within Practice Information. Each location can have its own address and details. Locations are used when configuring practitioner availability and appointment types, ensuring clients see the correct address for their booking.
Invite Your Team
Navigate to the Team tab in the left-hand navigation and click Add new teammate. Enter their email address and assign a role β Superuser, Admin, Practitioner, or Mentor. Each role comes with different permissions that control what the team member can see and do within Tacklit.
Create Appointment Types
Appointment types define the services your practice offers. They control who can deliver the service, when it is available, where it takes place (in-person or telehealth), how long it runs, and the billing logic. Set these up in Control Panel > Calendar Settings so your practitioners can begin accepting bookings.
Working Schedules
Each practitioner sets their own working schedule β the days, times, and locations they are available. The practitioner's working schedule location must match the appointment type's delivery mode for time slots to appear on the booking page.
