Accessing Notifications Click the notification bell icon in the top navigation bar to open the notifications panel. Unread notifications are indicated by a badge on the bell icon. Each notification card shows who triggered it, what it relates to, and when it occurred.
Appointment Requests When a client requests to book or change an appointment, a notification appears with the client name, practitioner, proposed date and time, and Accept / Decline buttons. You can action the request directly from the notification panel. Expired requests are clearly labelled so you know if a request has passed its proposed time.
Appointment Cancellations When a client cancels an appointment — either through the client portal or by contacting your practice — a notification is generated so the relevant practitioner and admin staff are informed immediately.
Document Changes Requested When a team member requests changes to a document such as a case note, letter, or report, you receive a notification showing who requested the change, the document title, when the request was made, and any comments they included. Click View Document to open the document and action the requested changes.
Document Approved When a document you submitted for review is approved, a notification confirms who approved it, the document title, and when it was approved. Click View Document to view the finalised version.
Managing Notifications Each notification can be dismissed once actioned by clicking Dismiss. Notifications remain in the panel until you dismiss them, ensuring nothing is missed. The notification centre is designed to support clinical governance workflows — particularly document review and approval chains — so that important sign-offs are tracked and visible.
