What Is Multi-Clinician Assignment?
You can now assign up to 5 clinicians to the same client record directly. This is designed for multidisciplinary teams or co-treating arrangements where multiple practitioners need shared access to a client's care information.
How It Works
• Navigate to a client record and open the care team section
• Assign additional clinicians — each one gains access to the shared client record
• All assigned clinicians can view and contribute to the client's clinical documentation
When to Use It
This is ideal for practices where clients see multiple practitioners — for example, a psychologist and a psychiatrist, or a counsellor and an occupational therapist working together on the same case.
Good to Know
• Available for practices with 2 or more clinicians
• You don't need to create a Group to share a client across clinicians — this works directly from the client record
• Some Client Portal and CareOS features are being updated to fully support multiple assigned clinicians, with further enhancements on the way
