Follow these steps to move an existing Tacklit user onto your SSO setup.
1. Send the SSO invitation
Invite the user using their organisation’s SSO email address.
This must match the email identity they use in your identity provider.
2. Check the email address on any existing account
If the user already has a clinician or staff account in Tacklit and you want it linked to SSO, the account must use the exact same email address.
If the emails differ, update the existing account before sending the SSO invite.
3. User completes SSO registration
The user opens the invitation link and signs in through SSO.
As part of this flow they will confirm their mobile number and accept the terms again.
After that, Tacklit automatically links their SSO identity to their existing account.
4. User continues as normal
From now on the user logs in at {company_name}.tacklit.com and selects the Tacklit SSO button to authenticate.
Their existing account, data and permissions all remain unchanged.
